Enterprise Web 2.0 and Project Management

Posted by on Aug 17, 2009 | No Comments

The underlying key to successful marriages, business relationships, and project management: communications!

Tools such as wiki’s, blogs, social networking tools, and other elements of Web 2.0, can improve communications and lead to successful projects delivered faster, more accurately, and with less waste.

I’ll be presenting on this topic at Nexus 2009, November 2-3. Nexus is an Enterprise Content Management conference, located this year near Seattle, Washington. See www.nexusecm.com for more information.

To prepare for this presentation I’m conducting a survey of project managers on the topic of how they use Enterprise Web 2.0 to manage projects. All particpants will be entered into a drawing for a $20 Starbucks gift card.

UPDATED on October 25

The survey is closed and the winner has been notified. Participants will get a copy of the presentation after Nexus. Thanks for participating!

I’m putting together the Google Group to follow up to the conference. I’ll be issuing invites to the people who signed up at the session by the end of the week and will post it on this Blog.
Was a fun session and I expect we’ll get some great ideas out of the group. Thanks for attending!
